The objective of audit is to determine whether financial statements give a fair view of the client’s financial position, performance and cash flows in accordance with the legislation on accounting and financial reporting in all significant cases. Financial statements audit is an independent verification of entity’s financial statements or consolidated group financial statements and submission of the report and conclusion. Independent auditor’s report shall state whether financial statements give a true and fair view of the financial state, operating results, cash flows, and whether the financial statements are prepared in compliance with current legislation on accounting and financial reports as well as other legislation. In cases and procedure prescribed by law, the letter to the management together with the auditor’s report, where the auditor additionally specifies violations of internal control or other violations noted during the audit that have not been mentioned in the audit report, but may be meaningful for the company.
